Director of Communication & Ethics
Lori has a diverse corporate background, and for the past 30 years has been a great leader in corporate compliance, ethics, communication, HR, training and trying to drive the importance of culture and overall wellness. She has loved volunteering and has served as a leader for many organizations throughout the years. She has made an impact on her charitable service with the American Heart Association, in which she has served in various capacities for the Go Red For Women campaigns. She also served on their QAIC Taskforce nationwide and helped to create the “Circle of Red” group that is still a big part of the AHA, and chaired many events over her years of service. In addition, she also now serves as the Secretary of the Advisory Board with the Salvation Army, Salt Lake City division, along with their Board of Directors and Nominating Committee. She loves helping families and children in need, especially the Build a Backpack and Angel Tree Programs. She has been a part of the board of the Every Teen Seen's fight against suicide and raising awareness in schools and Hope Squads. She is a volunteer for the Good Shepherd Home Health and Hospice and believes that all lives matter and everyone should have hope and brightness during the end of their life and is currently helping lead the Genshai Movement at senior centers. Lori’s passion has always been about bringing hope, love, inclusion and diversity to new highs of community engagement and optimism. She has many dreams to start spreading love throughout the world, one person at a time. She enjoys serving and uplifting others and has said if she could find a way to make a living doing this, she would. Otherwise, she will continue to serve and see how she can help educate and mentor others to create a better world for all. Lori loves to serve and has served with the Commander and SHEROES United whenever needed. She loves serving and loves training at the prison with SHEROES United's Inside-Out Program, mentoring prisoners that will soon be transitioning out, and helping with the other pillars. She loves traveling, particularly learning about different cultures and meeting fascinating people wherever she goes. This is all with the hope that she leaves anyone she meets better than she found them, knowing that they are loved and that she has brightened the path along her way.
