The Video that Ignited a World

SHEROES United  has now Hosted FOUR One Billion Rising Events!  In addition to that we Represented One Billion Rising at the Parliament of World Religions held in SLC, UT USA in October 2015.

Scroll through the text and videos and see just how amazing the energy is.

In 2014 we were able to bring in almost a dozen dance troops to perform their unique dance styles. We had KEYNOTE Speakers from around the state speaking on Violence. We awarded several outstanding citizens from our communities that have gone above and beyond, to include A Detective and a Chief of Police. We brought in African Drummers and all kinds of entertainment. Over 1000 balloons were released. The energy was off the hook.

In 2013 – Hundreds of Women and the Men that love them came out to Celebrate the V-day Events One Billion RISE. On the stairs of the Utah State Capitol stood close to 300 people adorned in Red, Black, Pink, and White to represent and participate in this GLOBAL EVENT. State Legislators and Leaders came out and participated in the event while dozens of cameras and media outlets snapped photos of this historic event. We Were blessed with the most glorious Blue SKY and comfortable temperature. IT was the first day that we were able to see the sun in over 24 days in a row of inversion and bone chilling temps. That was a blessing in itself!

After hearing from several of our Groups that participated in the event we then commenced to the GATEWAY Outdoor Mall. The Union Hall Train Station was our home for the next several hours. There we were treated to booths, prizes, music and special appearances by guest speakers and our very own Rebecca Musser. The audience was delighted and enlightened.

We then moved the chairs and had a free for all in the Train Station where so much history was all around us! At 3:30 we walked down the steps to the Fountains and had our 2nd FLASH MOB Dance of the Day. It was like MAGIC! Everyone was smiling, and feeling the love. There were lots of hugs, and emotion and dedication to stop the Violence, and to “Break the Chain” of Violence starting in our own homes, communities, states and GLOBALLY.

SHEROES United was PROUD to be able to bring all of these wonderful people together to RISE UP! Our youngest dancer was 11 months old and our oldest dancer was 88 years old. We had a beautiful mesh of diversity and we are so thankful that everyone came out and supported this cause. WE WILL DO IT AGAIN!!!

Special Thanks to Debi Agguire and her team for teaching us and leading us in this Dance. We could not have done it without you! Thank you to the Volunteers, and THANK YOU to all that bought a T-shirt to help spread the SHEROES United Message. Note: If you want T-Shirts or Hoodies we have them back in stock. We SOLD OUT the day of the Event! Not to worry. We have more in every size including the Popular Black HOODIES!!

WE are asking that all photos and videos be turned in if you would like to see them on this website. We are currently getting ready to put up a gallery. So turn them in. We are looking for a professionally produced Video of the event to place on our Home Page. So please do not hesitate to turn yours in.
